Stock 20 Royalty-Free Music

SBSD has a site license for music that any student or faculty member can use for free for school-related, non-commercial projects.

To find music that you might want to use in your project, do the following:

  • Visit the Stock20 Selection Wizard Search Site
  • Click one of the sub-categories on the right to search for music of that sub-category (E.g., click Wedding to limit the songs to wedding music)
  • You can then either scroll through the list of songs and click [Preview] button to hear anything that looks interesting or you can click another sub-category, at the bottom left, to further limit your search
  • Important Note: We own music that was produced December, 2005, through March, 2008. Be sure to check the date the music was produced, in parentheses immediately after the song name. If it's not within these dates, we don't have it.

Once you've found a song you like, pick the length you'd like. (You can see a list of the different versions of a song by clicking the [Preview] button.)
Click here to determine which folder the song you want is stored in. The folder names are "Disk 1", "Disk 2", etc.

Navigate to S:\SBSD Share\Royalty Free Music to find the song you want and copy/paste it to your J: drive.
